Able Aerospace Services, a Textron Inc. company and Bell Helicopter have teamed up to allow for Able’s production to expand with minor adjustments. They have agreed to broaden their production in Calgary to hopefully expand their production in more of Canada. Both companies have come to an agreement to that will benefit both parties by trading.
“Able will build in-country availability on its full line of approved replacement parts (PMA) and dynamic components for exchange for the Bell 206 and Bell 407 to be distributed through the supply center.”
The main goal for this joining in companies is to allow for customers to still be able to order through Able Aerospace but receive their orders in half the time due to Bells domestic distribution system.
Mark Johnson, Able’s Aerospace Business Development Director stated that this process beneficial to both parties being that.” the process is a win-win for bell Helicopter operators in Canada.” Able helicopters now have some of the biggest rotable inventories and a great amount of replacement parts that pertain to Bell Helicopter Aircrafts. With the mending of companies this gives Able the opportunity to be an approved Bell Helicopter Service Center.
