BAE Systems Debut Beowulf Vehicle
Richard Tompkins wrote an article for UPI talking about how BAE Systems has a new utility vehicle. This vehicle is called the Beowulf. It has considered a variation of the BvS10 combat vehicle which was the successor of the BV206s. The BV206s was used in the U.S. Army in Alaska as well at the Marine Corps.
The Beowulf has the ability to climb 45 degrees, travel through water and snow, and go over hard terrain. It has a payload of 8 tons which can carry a multitude of cargo. The Beowulf can be used in disaster responses, search and rescue missions, as well as getting into difficult areas.
