Brussels Airline are Coming to an End Especially After the Recent Incidents
Lufthansa is the largest German airline and the largest airline in Europe. All in regards to the passengers size and flee size. It has over 197 international destination across Africa, Americas, Asia, and Europe. They have been around for a long time. they have been around since 1950s. they always try to be the best and to offer great service to their customers. They have expanded so much since they started in the early years and are always looking for opportunities to expand. They recently announced that they are thinking of the option to buy off Brussels airlines for 2.6 million euros which is around 2.7 million. If this happens and they take the 55 percent that is left of Brussels airline they are looking to grow a lot.
This will also strengthen the budget of carrier’s market position.
The CEO of Lufthansa
“As a longstanding shareholder and partner of Brussels Airlines, we are already closely linked to each other. Therefore we value Belgium and especially Brussels as highly attractive markets that perfectly complement our offer in the heart of Europe,”
he mentioned that they currently they face around 600 aircrafts while still planning to get 40 set to come within the next year. In a way they are doing this to help the Brussles airport especially after the incident that recently happened where attacks at the brussels airport and metro station where at least 32 were dead and 270 others were attacked. The two incidents were more than one hour apart and were coordinated. This is important because after the incident the sales dropped drastically and few people have gained trust to the airport. Therefore, with Lufthansa help there might be hope in gaining customers to the airport.
