Drones are a very cool new toy, giving us new perspectives and access to the most amazing sights we’d normally not have access to. They're also a very problematic one, quickly raising a lot of concerns about boundaries and privacy leading to a flurry of regulations passed by the FAA. As a result, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) is now claiming that drones are too heavily restricted by the FAA.

The Canadian medical transport operator CanWest Air has previously set a deal with American global aerospace parts manufacturer Textron for a new addition to their high performing fleet. The new planes have been intended to replace the previous fleet that they used to operate from a leasing company known as Nor-Alta Aviation. The previous fleet was filled with B200s Beechcraft series aircrafts.

The South African Gripen RM122 Engine has always been a top prospect for GKN Aerospace with its versatile performance. Having first launched a Gripen of their own in the 2008, they have decided to continue their contract with the Armaments Corporation of South Africa (ARMSCOR) years to come. The contract has been decided to last up to 3 years beginning from November 2017 and will end in October 2020. This new program has been estimated to cost over 8 million US $ and will cover maintance requirements, parts, components, along with technical product support. With the Expansion of the company they are able to perform operations and repairs at locations such as South Africa and Sweden.

BIRD Aerosystems has released a new innovative tool that will allow for planes to detect foreign objects such as missiles and other aircrafts faster than ever before. This Component known as the Aerosheild POD is said to be the most effective piece of detection equipment on the market. This POD has been equipped with BIRD Aero’s SPEOS Directional Infra- Red Counter Measure (DIRCM ) solution with the help of its DIRCM and flares.
